Since I am going ahead with the plan to follow a hand-written Five Year Journal idea seen on another blog, I decided to focus this blog's journaling on the original question from Lyra's story book that inspired me. "What happened today that made you laugh?"
I babysit a little boy who just turned one year old in November. He is a bundle of energy, with sweet shy smiles and intense moments of growling. This morning I handed him a small calculator to distract and amuse him and he held it up to his face and started humming away. He walked out of the room still humming and I realized he was pretending to talk on the phone. Pretty darn cute!
